Oceanami Villa

A private four-bedroom beach villa at Oceanami Villas & Beach Club

Chapter one — the villa

The villa is all yours

The villa is yours alone — two floors of bright, open space where the whole group can spread out. Downstairs flows from the entry patio through the living and dining rooms to a green garden courtyard, accompanied with a master bedroom in the back; upstairs are the three bedrooms.

Living room with sofas and glass doors to the patio

Open-plan living

A bright living room with floor-to-ceiling glass onto the patio — sofas, smart TV, and air conditioning throughout. The space runs straight into the dining area, so nobody is ever in a separate room from the conversation.

Dining table for eight beside the open kitchen

Dining & kitchen

A full kitchen with everything you need to cook, and a wooden dining table that seats the whole villa. Glass doors on both sides pull the garden into the room.

Walled garden courtyard with lawn and frangipani trees

Private garden

Your own walled garden courtyard — frangipani trees, a lawn, and shaded seating for slow mornings and late dinners outside.

Chapter two — the resort

The beach club is included

Staying at the villa includes the run of the Oceanami Beach Club, a short stroll down the resort's garden lanes — pool, restaurant, and a private stretch of Long Hải beach.

Large resort pool with the restaurant and ocean behind

The lagoon pool

One of the biggest resort pools on this coast, right behind the beach — swim laps or float with the ocean on the horizon. Sun loungers and umbrellas included.

Maison Dining restaurant seen across the pool

Beachfront restaurant

Maison Dining sits between the pool and the sand — breakfast, fresh seafood, and sunset drinks without leaving the resort.

View from the restaurant terrace over palms and lawn to the sea

Straight onto the beach

From the restaurant terrace it's a lawn, a row of palms, and then the sea. The resort's beach frontage is reserved for guests — no roads to cross, nothing to book.

Beyond the gate

Places to visit nearby

The villa sits on the one coast road that strings this whole stretch together: a mountain of wartime caves on one side, fishing harbours and a century-old shrine on the other, and a pass with the best sunrise on the coast about five minutes away. Everything below is a half-day trip at most.

Coastal drive

Nước Ngọt Pass

Đèo Nước Ngọt

≈ 2 km · 5 min drive

The road just south of the resort curls into a five-kilometre pass with the sea on one side and the Minh Đạm cliffs on the other. Pull-offs along the way look straight down onto rocks and clear water, and it is the local sunrise spot.

Tip Come for sunrise. From October to February the flowering trees along the pass are in bloom, which is when photographers turn up.

Directions— Nước Ngọt Pass

Temple & wild macaques

Chân Nguyên Zen Monastery

Thiền viện Trúc Lâm Chân Nguyên (Chùa Khỉ)

≈ 3 km · 8 min drive

A quiet Trúc Lâm monastery at the foot of Minh Đạm, known to everyone here as the Monkey Pagoda: a troop of wild macaques comes down from the forest to meet visitors. Free to enter, roughly 6am to 5pm.

Tip Visitors suggest 8–9:30am or 3–4pm, and about an hour to see it properly. Keep bags zipped and sunglasses on your face — the macaques help themselves.

Directions— Chân Nguyên Zen Monastery

Historic site

Minh Đạm Historic Site

Khu di tích lịch sử Minh Đạm

≈ 6 km · 15 min drive

The mountain behind the villa hides more than a hundred caves used as a resistance base, national heritage since 1993. Walkways link the old committee, field-hospital and militia caves, several still furnished as they were left.

Tip No entrance fee, only a donation box at the memorial temple. Bring water, sunscreen and insect repellent — it is an open climb in the sun.

Directions— Minh Đạm Historic Site

Viewpoint & hike

Đá Chẻ Cape

Mũi Đá Chẻ

≈ 8 km · 20 min drive, then a climb

The highest point on the Minh Đạm ridge, named for the boulder split lengthwise at the top, where two flagpoles now stand. The reward is the whole coastline at once — Long Hải one way, Phước Hải the other.

Tip The highest-rated stop around here, and the steepest — go early, wear real shoes, and carry more water than you think you need.

Directions— Đá Chẻ Cape

Fishing village & dawn market

Phước Hải Fishing Village

Làng chài Phước Hải

≈ 8 km · 15 min drive

One of the oldest fishing villages on this coast, working since the 18th century. Round basket boats come in at first light and the catch is sold on the sand — the whole beach turns into a market for an hour or two.

Tip Get there before sunrise for the market at its busiest; late afternoon is the quieter, prettier visit. Buy your seafood here and the villa kitchen is yours.

Directions— Phước Hải Fishing Village

Shrine & festival

Dinh Cô Shrine

Dinh Cô

≈ 10 km · 20 min drive

A late-18th-century shrine on the hill above Long Hải beach, dedicated to a young woman lost at sea whom fishermen here honour as the Long Hải Goddess. Thirty-seven stone steps lead up to it, and the sea view from the top is the point.

Tip Free to enter. If you are here on the 10th–12th of the second lunar month, the Dinh Cô festival fills the bay with lantern-decked boats.

Directions— Dinh Cô Shrine

Garden & lunch stop

Ngọc Xương Eco Park

Khu du lịch sinh thái Ngọc Xương

≈ 9 km · 20 min drive

A Mekong-Delta-styled garden at the foot of Hòn Dung, a couple of kilometres back from Long Hải beach: canals and arched wooden bridges, sampans, thatched huts and fruit trees. Shade, fishing and a long lunch.

Tip No entrance fee — visitors are just asked to keep it clean and buy a drink at the counter. The easiest stop of the lot with small children.

Directions— Ngọc Xương Eco Park

Public beach

Long Hải Public Beach

Bãi biển Long Hải

≈ 9 km · 20 min drive

If you want a change from the resort's own stretch of sand, the public beach below Dinh Cô is broad, quiet on weekdays, and lined with seafood shacks. At low tide people wade out to dig for clams.

Tip Combine it with Dinh Cô above — the shrine sits on the headland at the end of the same beach.

Directions— Long Hải Public Beach
